My mother’s family are Grahams and for several generations they lived in Charlestown, Maryland. My grandfather Augustus Howell Graham, in the center photo above, broke the tradition and moved from Charlestown after graduation from college. He is pictured with my grandmother, Jennie Lynn Holloway Graham. Beside them are his parents, my great-grandparents, Jonathan James Graham and Sarah May Howell Graham.
